Motion Introduction
The following screenshots is a tutorial of how to use Motion which i will open a template to demonstrate how to edit the text.
1) First open the program Motion and select the option 'start with a New Project'.
There are many templates to choose from so be patient and you'll find your desired template.

Distribution Ident
Distribution ident
After creating the production ident 'Prodigy' we decided to create the distribution ident from scratch without a template. This was a challenge in order for us to understand how difficult it can be to combine our knowledge to produce this. I personally found this hard to create because we had never used motion before so we had to rely on Youtube tutorial. Sometimes Thaomy had to guide me around with the program because most of the time she was editing. 
In the end I am proud of what it turned out to be with adding the shapes,transition and the title 'framework'. It came out looking like an actual ident.

Re-research for opening scene music.
Today I searched for music that suites, fits and complements our opening scene as the previous music founded by my group member didn't fit the concept and wasn't the type of sound we were looking for and wanted to have as we believe there is the perfect sound choice out there that I took the role of to find.
I used Creative Commons, SoundCloud search engine to search for music as we want copyright free music of course... On the hunt I became a little frustrated as some music which was perfect didn't have 'download' option the screenshot below is an example of a Dusbtep soundtrack that suited the scene where Joshua become addicted to drugs as the music gives a sense of "darkness" which is also mentioned in the title. But with a couple deep breaths I was ready to keeping hunting, you know what they say the bests to last.
Below are a couple of music I found that may be used in the opening scene:
I think this music is suitable for the bedroom scene as its a Dubstep song which fits perfectly to the theme of our opening scene but its slow as mentioned in the title 'Slow-Dubstep'. Also this music can be used in the park scene once he has the drugs as its gives the sense of troubles coming along in the coming scenes.
I believe the soundtrack below will suite the scene that Joshua becomes addicted to the drugs as it starts off slow then builds up with a climax which will complement the scene. But in the beginning there's a voice saying "oh yeah" which would have to be cut out and moved around to see if we can still keep the beginning and see if it'll fit seamlessly with the rest.
I can see this soundtrack being played in the detention scene just before Joshua try drugs for the first time due to the beginning maybe just cutting the first couple seconds and repeating.

I began with creating the production ident which is now called 'Prodigy'. Thaomy didn't like the name 'Mcintosh' because she said it looks too serious and decided to rename it as 'Prodigy'. In the end I've gained experiences because I didn't know how to use the program so well, but I used a template to help guide me. This was actually easier than final cut pro because you only need to click on the template and re-word it.

Personal Blog Reviews
So far since starting this media project I've gained some skills that I haven't known before. I've become more hands on with the camrea, making sure that when shooting the scenes I'm able to shoot in different angles and perspective. As well as leanring skill with the camrea I've also learnt to find music for the opening through 'Creative Commons', and from this I know how to edit that into a clip.
Aside from techniqual skills I've also learnt that communicating with the team is very important especially since there are times when we're doing work outside of college hours which means that will be times when we need cotact eachother for questions or meet up to do extra work.
In terms of blogging, I think I'm a little behind compard to my memebers, but doing the actual blogging on blogger has been pretty simple and straight forward. I'd say the most fustraing part of blogging is when you insert a picture and trying to move it to certain part of the page but it won't go to the place you want it to. Apart from minor things, blogging on blogger is pretty easy.

Pitch Feedback
Overview
After having pitched our presentation to the class, I felt that we did a good job with trying to convey our vision of movie to the class. We was able to present most of the information required for our movie opening. There was a slight misunderstanding with one of the slide which was the risk assessment. But that could easily be fixed.
Improvements
I think personally i could improve on my talking skills, as I was first to speak it was extremely important to try and get the audience to understand our concept but I did struggle with explaining our concept so I could improve on reciting what I need to say and going over things I need to remember. As mentioned the risk assessment slide needs to be fixed.

Individual blog reviews
What have i learnt since starting the unit?
i guess i learnt how to use a verity of ICT types of editing such as final cut pro etc but recently i have learnt how to incorporate and feedback ideas i have to produce a film and collaborate it with the rest of my group in order to come with a final outcome which is good and group made.
How well have i used Blogger?
I think i used blogger fairly well in order to upload the evidence of the work iv done in class also group plans , sceduals and set homework, i think i made my blogs look quiet good by adding images and gifs to kind of liven it up so its not so boring and plain.
all in all i think i have come far and done well and will contine to do so :D

Feed back for the Pitch
My group did After effects as the pitch, we were given very good feedback, every thing was solid and very detailed only thing was we didnt have the scedual done and the risk assesment wasnt completed but, we did complete the risk assesment and also we did do the scedual so everything is up to date.
Improvements
There wasn't much we could have done to improve everything was spot on, but for like a personal goal i think i need to do like good acting to show the type of person the main character Joshua is in order to get the whole concept across and also while doing the scenes and music need to make everything flows properly to make sure we achieve the dream scenes and school scenes, i guess if we do this well and get everything done right then the After effects will come out good when we begin to record.
Ideas for ict in blogs
Ideas of use of ICT in the blog.In order to use more ICT in my blogs i think i need to incorporate maybe some vlogs in order to show that i can use different type sof ict in my blogs and also to make my blog more colourful in a way instead of all the words.
And also more examples of the kind of ict i am using like screen shots and other things in order to show that i am actually using than and can use them.
I could use animations and other various online technologies such as websites like time toast which offer services and will allow you to embed the what you've made and then post it on the blog.

Preparation for Monday (Day 1 Filming)
On Monday 10th February it will be the first day of filming, we wish to film all scenes set in college because we have access to the location as in the holiday we wouldn't be able to come in and film inside college.We are aware that we have to be dressed in the characters costume and i have got the prop "drugs" ready for Monday's lesson.
The equipment we will collect in the morning are:
- JVC camera with mic
- Still camera
- Tripod
Preperations for Monday - First of filming
In preperation for monday, as we planned to film as many of our scene thats invovles a school enviroment meaning we then need to find a secure location in which we can film in. So we have decieded on using the college's lobby, also we have deciede before hand what costumes we need to wear to play the role of our character. As well as costume we've also make sure to bring any props that we will be usinging on that day. We've planned out what filming equipment to use on monday.

Creative Commons
Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization that enables the sharing
and use of creativity and knowledge through free legal tools.It allows artisits to share and expand their work to the public in a simple and standardized; giving the artist the option of how they want the copyright term to follow on their work.
For our work we are going to be using creative comoms as source to find our music and sounds as there wouldn't and copyrights issues as well as it allows us to download the music for free.
So here is a simple guide on how to serach for music on Creative Commons.
So first of all when you search for Creative Commons, it should ead you into their wesite which looks like this. There is a small box with the sub-heading 'explore'. In that box there is a button which says 'find CC-lisenced works' once you click on that it then leads you too a different page.
Once you have reached the page it transfered you too, your page should the have 13 small boxes on there showing all the different websites which all have CC-lisenced work that you can search from.
As we wanted to find sound and music for our video, what we would do is then click on the boxed which shows us that the source we're going to be looking for is from soundcloud. Onced clicked on the box you then type the typed of music or genre that you want and then click search.
Once the search has gone through it will them lead you into the soundcloud wesite where it will then show you all the different types of music realted to what you hae searched, in my case 'indie'. You can then have a lisent to all the different types od music and sound, find one you like then if it is avalible iy will allow you to download the that peice of sound which you can then use. In my case edit into the opening.

Holiday task
Attack the Block
The movie i watched was called attack the Block the movie was about a group of london children who lived in councl flats in modern london, they fnd an alien and kill it like any other teenager would and then are attacked by other alians crashing into the earth because they are trying kill them because they are laced with the pherimone of the dead alian.
the movie was directed by Joe cornish who was the producer begind hot fuzz and tintin 2011, these movies are aimed at teenage/maure ages who understand comedy and also for mature people to look back on.
The movie kept me lughing an anticipationg more, my favourite prt of the movie was when the alains were coming out pf the part and blocked the van and th gangster/gang leader said what is that blud and started to soot, that portrayed the reaction of any normal teenager and also the modern streotypes of the black teen being tha they carry guns.

The jock/popular guy in the teen movie often seen as weiring a sports jacket/ expensive clothes to represent he is atheliticaly fit or that he is rich.
The geek / nerd who is subject to bullying or seen as an outsider for being different. physical differences could be poor eyesight, obesity, or just the type of clothes they wear.
The either ugly or unpopular girl has normaly characteristics of being not that good looking, or just very shy, she is bullied by the flawless girl or outshined by her and no one sees her qualities.
The geek / nerd who is subject to bullying or seen as an outsider for being different. physical differences could be poor eyesight, obesity, or just the type of clothes they wear.
The flawsless girl in the movie is seen as being perfect and either being mean or being nice but will normaly date the jock.
