Shot by shot | Filming

Filming

Our aim for the project was to re-create a shot by shot remake of the opening of the scene of 'The Breakfast Club' film.

To do this we filmed beside the college and inside to make the remake similar to the original, to do this we used a camera JVC to record and also used the tripod to take pans and shots inside the college, inside the college we had various props we used in order to represent the characters just like inside of the film. During filming to represent talking inside the car we used a office but we couldn't film through the car window because we were unable to hear the conversation, this was the only real problem we encountered.

Filming went fine because we knew what lines we had to say, while we filmed we had our storyboard ready and also the extract of the film we could watch to make the filming look just like the original, we also had fun doing it.

At the start of filming the scene were we used cars to represent the teenagers going to school we used
the inside to represent the interior . The cars we used weren't exactly the same as how it was in the movie but we used cars that were close to what someone at there social class would use.

Below shows a lot of behind the scene pictures which were taken when filming the scene.
